Juliette brought to life a high-level diplomatic debate on the Cotonou Agreement involving leading officials from the European Commission, the Organisation for African, Pacific and Caribbean states and the Commonwealth Secretariat, together with prime ministers from small island developing states, at the inaugural session of the GLOBAL SIDS LEADERS initiative on 4th May last. Her handling of this complex and sometimes technical debate was outstanding and professional in all aspects.
